If you purchase this: http://www.magicproshop.com/packet-killer-bicycle-gaff-deck-dvds-simon-lovell-p-9177.html

I like many of the tricks on there.

Well, I sometimes use the invisible deck routine to locate a card if I've lost a break or something. I usually carry it around with me when I perform. Of course, there are lots of other things you can do with an invisible deck, such as causing a card to vanish.

well,i prefer double back deck for my favourite ""colour blind"" trick. Also, for simple magic tirck,i prefer one way back design deck, that helps a lot in many tricks, especially reaching the spectator card even after they shuffle it.

I believe I've found a new favorite trick that uses a homemade gimmick. The effect is that you divine a card through "feeling the faces" of cards that you spread between your hands while using a previously selected word that has some sort of meaning to a spectator, then the name of the chosen card is shown to have appeared on the card case. On top of that, you spread several previously removed cards from the deck to show that they have letters on the back of them spelling the word that the spectator originally chose.

I believe that in the context of his entire sentence, he was saying that if you haven't reached that level in card magic yet (as in the text that says "If you're ready to take your card magic to the next level..." or something like that), he'd be glad to help out.
