Well, that's a bit depressing. I guess since people were having a holiday break they didn't use their computers?

Still here, just had a long holiday season.

I'm not sure, though it seems like everybody is getting frustrated that there isn't any traffic on this site, and so they just stop checking the website and posting regularly.

Any ideas because I'm getting tired of checking. I could submit my other Youtube thing in, but it's mostly goofing off. I don't have an idea for a thread. Cant start a fire without a spark and don't know where or what that spark is.

Well I can tell you right now that the only way to get "traffic" is to hire someone to post everyday and post keywords. The reason I know this is because that's one of the businesses my wife and I run.
While that will generate traffic, it still won't help the overall issue of the fact that not as many people are interested in magic as we'd like to think.

Personally, I would be quite happy with about 30 - 50 regularly posting members. I think it would be nice to review books and DVDs that each of us own, as well as perhaps having a study group for the applications of performance techniques and card sleights (assuming that we're staying true to the name "cardtrickinsider". Of course, people would probably want to visit other sites as well if they're interested in staying in touch with the current magic news (as this site doesn't seem to be the place to post magic news).

I find it funny that Tim still hasnt made an appearance in this thread. But i think that there are far more members than the few of us who post "regularly" i try to come on every couple days and hope for something new, but without people posting topics most members wont participate.

You also have to keep in mind that the name of the website is CARDtrickinsider.com, and it wouldn't make sense if it was all kinds of magic. Although it would be nice, that's not the style of the website. LIke Hakozusu stated, I would be happy with 30-50 regularly posting members.

I'm sure there are plenty of people who would be interested, it's just a matter of finding them, rather than the people who will just stick around for a few days.

To wildcard, if you look at other magic sites such as magichat. theyve got a massive forum and have well over 100 dedicated card magicians, so 30-40 isnt that far fetched
