Alright! Sounds good! One I really like to do is Impossibility by Harry Lorayne. It's a nice card divination trick. Though also a card location. Another good one is the Paul Harris Invisible Palm, It's interesting and very stunning (it is quite difficult though, I don't do it much since I haven't quite mastered it yet).

There are many four ace routines... I have one that is an impromptu ace assembly. Not the best, but it'll do for now. not sure what cole is talking about... could you specify please?

sorry the self working four ace trick i cant remember the name its a classic self working trick you place the 4 aces side by side and make 4 piles of four the ace on top of each cut the partial deck you have just made and then deal out the cards into the piles as though dealing cards and all the aces are grouped together. Sorry if that made no sense ill try and find the name of it later.

Alright, thanks for clearing that up! I think I have heard of the trick you're talking about.

P.S. For those who don't know, ACR stands for ambitious card routine. It's the trick where the selected and signed card keeps appearing on the top of the deck no matter how many times it is placed into the middle, cut into the middle, or shuffled into the middle. Under test conditions, it just happens over and over.
Thanks for adding that, cole.
I like Bill Malone's "My Favorite Opener" and just about anything by Paul Cummins. Especially his Fasdiu notes.
Fasdiu stands for "From a shuffled deck in use". Pretty much the definition of impromptu, right there.

One impromptu trick with cards is the one I call as Lightning Speed Changing Card.
It is a damn difficult one to master but has a great impact on the spectators when it is mastered and performed well, as it involves nothing but a single pack of cards which are very well shuffled by the spectator himself/herself. The effect is as follows:
I give the spectator a pack of cards to shuffle to their satisfaction.
When they are done, I take back the pack and take the top card of the pack, placing the remaining cards aside.
I show the card and holding it right in front of the spectator's view I tap it at the back as though I'm hitting a carom piece.
In the flash of a second in front of the spectator's eyes the card changes into another card.
I then place the changed card back on the top of the pack.
I riffle the pack and ask the spectator to stop wherever he/she likes and there is the card I showed them first .
ok sharan, that sounds like an incredible effect, but whats a carom piece?

By saying a "hitting a carom piece" I actually meant tapping at the back of the card as though you push a coin from the table with your forefinger which is pulled by the thumb for force. I couldn't find any other way of explaining that tapping. To be simple, any kind of move with the other hand that would make the spectator's eye blink or take the card out of focus for a second.
Well... This was really a tough trick for me to master (I'm only an amateur). It involves only one complicated move with your fingers. You actually do a double top lift, taking two cards and hold it (them) with the forefinger and middle finger supported by your thumb at the back. When the above said tapping action is done, the middle finger is taken back to where your thumb meets the palm - the way you make a snapping sound with your middle and thumb at times... The front card is taken to the back at right angle to the other card (this is where I used to go wrong when I was practicing). Now from the spectator's view (that is the front) only the "other card" must be visible.
Now with great care, the two cards are combined and kept back in the pack in such a way that the card shown first is at the top of the deck. The next part is obvious - make some fake riffle shuffles, and force the top card...
I LOVE THE TRICK hich is called THE 4 CARDS if you don't know what i'm talkin about 2 of hearts always on top, then you snap fingers and 10 of spades always on top then THE FINAL REVELATION 4 KINGS in the PILE THAT's ONE I LOVE.
AND of course THIS & THAT

This and That is a very popular trick, and I have never heard of the trick that you are talking about, Teddy.

The Four Cards sounds new to me. The way it is explained I think it is something like a double top lift.
I agree that This And That is an excellent trick when presented properly.
