Here's number 3.
Once again, the rules:
1. No cursing, swearing, or insulting others during this "debate". Any posts like that will be deleted.
2. REMEMBER - Keep this civil! The last thing I want is for this to turn into a flat out argument. There IS a difference between and argument and a debate. A (short) definition of the two is that and argument is usually out of anger or something along that line to prove the other person wrong. A debate is to sit down and each talk about your points of view and there doesn't have to be a winner. For this, there will be no winner. It's just for fun.
This is optional. I just thought that this would be fun. This is how it works:
Choose a side. It doesn't matter which, just make it clear before each post. I might type: This is for "...", And then type my debate for that side. You can keep debating as long as you want, and you might even argue for both sides! Try to keep it even though.
To make sure that there are two sides, I'll choose my side later.
So, the debate topic:
Which is more practical/better to use, the side slip, or the glimpse?

Id have to say the glimpse mainly because you can work it into any trick really, and it fits into every genre of card magic

While I do agree with you Cole, I'll try to put up the other side. The side slip is an excellent sleight, and can be a perfect move to use for any type of magic as well. It can replace the pass, and can be used to palm a card.

I'm going to go with the side slip. I think it's the better of the two for my style of magic. Glimpsing is more for the mind reading genre of magic, while the side slip is more useful for most other types of magic. For example, the side slip is excellent in some more advanced ACR routines or a chosen card at chosen number trick.

I agree with you there, hakuzosu. Glimpse is more mindreading. I guess it really depends on your style of magic.
