While we all can sit here and list numerous magicians that inspire us to be greater, I'd like to hear about the people that you feel have had a great impact on your life. Doesn't matter who they are, I'd really like to know.
Some of mine are:
Jesus
Martin Luther King Jr.
My wife
Isaac Newton

I'll give it a try (I could probably go on and on for hours, though I'll keep it short).
- Professor S. James Gates
- Richard Wolfson (The physicist, not the musician)
- Darwin Ortiz (For altering the way I think about ALL forms of art)
- Benoit Mandlebrot

God
Jesus
My dad
Below Average Dave www.badave.com Dave seems to keep doing whatever he can to help others with parodies. He offered to record for me and it made me realize that I let my speech hearing loss get me down so much that I forgot what I love doing most, singing.
I like helpful people

Well welcome, Chris! Interesting list, and I'm interested about how you got into magic. This is a great website for new and old magicians both.
